SSI Try Scuba Diving

The SSI Try Scuba Diving program is your introduction to the underwater world. This entry-level program gives you the opportunity to experience the underwater world in a confined water setting. You will earn the SSI Try Scuba recognition rating.

For those who love the sea and have a desire to sink beneath her beautiful surface but don’t quite feel ready to do the entire SSI Scuba Diver Course or the SSI Open Water Course, then this is the dive for you.

In Try Scuba Diving Course, we teach you all the fundamentals about diving. It includes your dive equipment, underwater skills, and of course, everything about our beautiful underwater world!

FACTS:

Minimum Age: 8

Certification Prerequisites: None

Academic Sessions: Try Scuba Pool

Pool/Confined Water Sessions: 1

Open Water Dives: 0

Maximum Training Depth: 5 meters / 15 feet

The course includes the follow:

All SSI digital materials
Certification fees
Rental Equipment for duration of course
Confined Water Sessions: 1
