Description
The SSI Hypoxic Trimix Program is the pinnacle of technical diving. Here you will use all the knowledge, skills, equipment and experience from all of your previous training and push your limits to the extreme. There are two pathways; one takes you to 80 meters / 265 feet ,and the other to 100 meters / 330 feet using the same Extended Range Total Diving System you mastered in previous programs. However, you will now use a minimum of three stages for decompression and travel gases. You will earn the SSI Hypoxic Trimix certification after completing this program.
To be able to participate in this course you will need the following:
- Have logged at least 100 total dives. This is the bare minimum.
- Complete a test dive with us. We can ask for more experience after the test dive.
- 30 dives deeper than 30 meters
- 10 dives deeper than 45 meters
- 20 dives requiring staged decompression with at least one (2) gas switch
Have the following SSI certifications or an equivalent from a recognized training agency:
- Technical Extended Range
The reason we ask for this level is that the student should have complete control of their buoyancy and trim before beginning this course.
